When you book with Otterbourne Detailing you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Once an appointment is made you are bound under the terms and conditions.
Our Service Terms & Conditions
1.0 We may ask where you heard about Otterbourne Detailingto gauge our marketing strategies.
1.1 We may from time-to-time conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
1.2 If there is probable and clear cause that the service did not fulfil the package as ordered or is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the package.
1.3 Otterbourne Detailing offers superb workmanship,however our work can be subject to weather conditions. If the weather is poor, then we will then arrange aconvenient time for the work to be completed. This will be at no extra cost to the customer.
1.4 All payments must be made on the dayupon completion of the service, unless agreed prior with the Director of Otterbourne Detailing.
1.5 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our services are carried out to the highest possible standard,the customer is advised to check the vehicle(s) on completion. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the customer should point out the discrepancy to Otterbourne Detailing, who will endeavour to correct it.
Booking Terms & Conditions
2.0 Customers should remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of detailing.
2.1 Otterbourne Detailing will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property.
2.2 All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk and the vehicle must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes.
2.3 We reserve the right to amend a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and/or machinery or equipment failure.
2.4 With any booking made,Otterbourne Detailing requires the customers address, phone number and credit card details.
2.5 Otterbourne Detailing reserves the right to refuse or deny customers’ demands above and beyond the booking specification.
2.6 Otterbourne Detailing will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered.
2.7 Timings for the completion of the package bought are given as an estimate. The time taken to do the vehicle may vary to the original time span quoted. We will keep you informed on the day if we feel the job will take shorter or longer than originally expected.
Pricing Terms & Conditions
3.0 Otterbourne Detailing reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle, upgrade/downgrade of package.
3.1 As stated in 1.4 payment should be made on the same day as completion of the package bought unless agreed prior with a director.
3.2 Otterbourne Detailing accepts Cash, Card, Cheque, Bank Transfer.
Cancellation Terms & Conditions
4.0 We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel any bookings.
4.1 Failure to provide 48 hours advance notice of cancellation will result in a minimum charge of 25% of the package cost.
4.2 Otterbourne Detailing reserve the right to take full payment if a booking is cancelled on the day without prior agreement.
4.3 As stated in 1.3 Otterbourne Detailingoffers superb workmanship, however our work can be subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to postpone the appointment.
4.4 Failure to be present at the time and location of the booking may result in the full value of the package booked being charged.
The Vehicle Terms & Conditions
5.0 We will carry out a vehicle Inspection prior to commencement of work. This is not only to protect ourselves but you, the customer. All Vehicles will be checked over for any dents and scratches before the service takes place. We will notify the customer if any damage is found. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill-fitting trim, loose or faulty parts. Please make us aware of any problems before we commence.
5.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that all contents and valuables are removed from the vehicle prior to your arrival. Otterbourne Detailing shall accept no liability for lost valuables or personal belongings left in the vehicle.
5.2 Old/New or non-original paintwork can be damaged in the cleaning process if there is pre-existing damage which may not be visible prior to the wash process. All such defects shall be indicated to Otterbourne Detailing prior to commencement of the service. We reserve the right to refuse to carry out the service.
5.3 Our determination of the size, category or degree of time required to complete the work shall be final and binding.
5.4 If you have booked an interior detail, please make sure your vehicle is in a reasonable condition by removing excess items from the interior and boot area.
5.5 Clients should remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any of our services.
5.6 Otterbourne Detailing will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle.
5.7 Child seats must be removed and refitted by you the customer.We will NOT refit seats under any circumstances.
5.8 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our services are carried out to the highest possible standard, the Client is advised to check the vehicle (s) on completion. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the Client should point out the discrepancy to, Otterbourne Detailing who will endeavour to correct it.
5.9 No responsibility can be accepted by Otterbourne Detailing or omissions or discrepancies detected after you have left our premises. If the Client has cause for complaint, the Client is asked to contact Otterbourne Detailing within 24 hours of service completion. Should the Client fail to adhere to this time scale we may decline to rectify any omissions or discrepancies.
By booking Otterbourne Detailing you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as laid out above.
